Digital beetle control at Forstify: a look at the latest successes
At Forstify, we try to continuously improve our application with every app update. Like a reliable car that needs regular servicing to run smoothly, software applications too require continuous care to eliminate emerging problems and optimise the user experience. We also develop the app further based on user feedback, with the goal of making new versions available to our users as quickly as possible. We therefore work in a four-week sprint mode so that we can incorporate feedback or requirements from partners within a very short time.
Increasing usability through UI improvements in the Forstify app
Through targeted optimisations in the user interface, we have further increased the usability of the Forstify app, making the application even more efficient to use. For example, adding measurements to wood lists was optimised to make the process smoother and more user-friendly. This saves time and reduces possible errors during data entry. The speed and efficiency when querying wood lists and log piles was also increased through targeted improvements, which means that users can now access important information more quickly.
Important new features in version 2.5.0:
- View, edit and delete the most recently created logs
- Total quantity in solid cubic metres and number of logs visible already during measurement
- Add several photos to measurements
- Faster saving of measurements
- More stability when processing and securing image data
- Bundle several wood lists into one sales lot
- Share sales lots with business partners and buyers via link
- Bundle different assortments and timber types within one sales lot
- Move log piles to other wood lists
- App always starts in the most recently used navigation area
