New feature at Forstify: notifications
Marketing and buying raw timber has so far been very laborious: finding the right partners for your own offer or your own need was only possible through a large network and many phone calls. Finding the right contact person took a lot of time. The search on our platform Forstify now achieves what was previously impossible: with every new offer and every new request, our automatic search agent scans the entire database for potentially matching offers nearby. Alongside general factors such as timber quantity and proximity, the type of timber or the assortment are of course also taken into account.
At the moment a new request or offer is posted, the fully automatic search agent looks for matching listings. If there is a match, both parties – supplier and buyer – are notified. Users of our tablet or smartphone apps can therefore sit back comfortably after publishing listings. As soon as a match is found, a push notification is automatically triggered by the Forstify app and reports a hit. The days of laborious, manual searching by phone are over. Once a raw-timber offer or raw-timber request has been posted, Forstify users only need to wait. They automatically receive matching offers.
How do I also get automatic offers and requests?
The notifications feature is available to all users of the Forstify app in its current version. You can find the iPhone app for download here; as an Android user you need to click here. Not a Forstify user yet? Then follow this link.
During installation we ask whether you allow notifications through our app. If you confirm this question with “Yes”, you will from now on receive notifications when an offer matches your request or your own offer.
Once you are registered and logged in, you can publish offers and requests for any assortment you offer or are looking for across the entire DACH region. This could be a specific stem-wood assortment within a radius of 1,000 km or firewood listings in your immediate vicinity. The notifications are interesting for every Forstify user.
