Press release: Forstify and INTEND Geoinformatik enter a strategic partnership
Dortmund, 8 July 2024 — INTEND Geoinformatik, a leading provider of geographic information systems (GIS) for forestry, and Forstify, the platform for digital forestry tools, have entered a strategic partnership. The aim is to integrate wood lists from Forstify into INTEND’s ERP system.
Through this collaboration, customers benefit from a significant simplification and automation of their workflows: data from Forstify can be transferred directly into the forest information planning system. This saves time and reduces errors caused by manual transfer. The goal is a seamless data flow between the platforms.
Benefits of the integration
- Automated data flow: wood lists and other forestry data are transferred from Forstify into INTEND’s ERP system.
- Greater efficiency: automation removes the need for manual entry, raises efficiency and minimises errors.
- Ease of use: the integration is straightforward and requires no extensive IT knowledge.
- Better communication: sharing the platforms improves communication and collaboration.

Beyond this collaboration
This partnership is only the beginning. Forstify and INTEND plan to expand their cooperation and develop innovative solutions for the forestry and timber industry.
