Forstify.de September Update!
“It was high time for us to also present all the new features and information on our website,” reports Christian Kaulich, co-founder of Forstify and responsible, among other things, for the platform's technical development. In future, this website should be more than just an informational landing page for prospects interested in selling or buying raw timber. Instead, existing customers should be kept informed about current features, the press about news – for example on opening up additional markets – and, above all, (future) employees should find information about the company.
“At the same time, it was important to us that the look of the website and our marketplace match,” Kaulich continues. The focus, however, remains on information. In the newly created Updates section, step-by-step guides – e.g. for creating requests – are now provided alongside general company news or the presentation of newly released features. The website thus becomes a central point of contact: descriptions of new versions, answers to frequently asked questions about the apps, and explanations of raw-timber trading on Forstify are also to be integrated directly into the apps in the future.
Social networks are also becoming more important for Forstify's communication. “We want to give our customers the opportunity to stay in touch with us on other channels as well,” Kaulich concludes his update. On Facebook and Instagram, not only current offers from the platform are posted. Rather, both channels are to become integral parts of communication and thus also contribute to the successful brand-building of Forstify.

The founding team around Marco Hartmann and Christian Kaulich now has 15 team members in the commercial, forestry and technical fields and intends to keep growing in the future. Alongside features such as creating requests, the proximity search for listings or capturing timber via the smartphone app, many more features will be added in future to support users in raw-timber trading.
