New feature at Forstify: posting requests
The advantage for buyers: you post requests on the platform once, reflecting your needs. As soon as new offers are available that match your needs, buyers automatically receive a notification and can react quickly to the new offer. This makes finding the right assortment easier for everyone.
The feature is aimed at all raw-timber processors who continuously look for specific types of timber in particular regions:
- Raw-timber wholesalers, who regularly have to broker large quantities of raw timber, including internationally, and thus have a permanent need
- Sawmills, which regularly have a large need for standard assortments
- Firewood processors, who look regionally for suitable suppliers
- Timber-construction companies, which want to source material for construction projects regionally or supra-regionally
- Private firewood buyers, who want to cover their need for firewood from local forest owners
- Trade businesses with special requirements, for example beekeepers, artists or joinery businesses that want to create or refurbish certain pieces of furniture

Posting requests: automatic notifications to foresters
The ability not only to post requests but also to be notified automatically when foresters, forest owners or forest management associations (FBG) make an offer creates real added value. A search order for timber that automatically keeps an eye on the entire range of offers is a genuine relief in everyday business.
The update is available now; users of the web application need do nothing further, while users of the smartphone or tablet apps simply need to update to the latest version of the software – if this does not happen automatically. On iOS devices this is possible via the App Store, on Android devices via the Play Store.
