Forstify 4.6.0 — volume in solid or stacked m³, better exports
As summer begins, this one’s big: volume in solid or stacked m³, much better exports and more flexible photos. Many of these came straight from your ideas — thank you!
Volume in solid or stacked m³
- Capture form-based volume measurements in solid (Fm) or stacked (Rm) cubic metres — with conversion and reduction factors; the last conversion factor used is remembered
- Stacked m³ (Rm) is now shown alongside solid m³ (Fm) in the measurement, wood list and pile detail views
- The measurement detail page now has a volume area with full add/edit — just like the pile detail page
Better exports
- PDF and Excel now include wood species, assortment and grade per pile, plus metadata (forest owner, contractor, felling no., district) and individual bracket-log rows
- Sectional measurements export all details (section heights, pile width, factors) and the quantity in Rm in addition to Fm
- Length is shown as a range (from–to) instead of an average
- ELDAT export lets you choose between Fm and Rm
Photos & files
- Faster and nicer photo analysis
- Pick photos from any folder or cloud storage (Downloads, Drive, OneDrive …), not just the gallery
- Choose the save location for exports and downloads, and open files directly
- Attach photos to a measurement directly in the browser
Fixes & polish
- Editing a measurement's wood species is now saved correctly
- Deleted measurements no longer reappear after syncing
- Pile numbers may now repeat and are no longer auto-incremented
- Corrected bark-deduction values for more wood species
- Fixed the offer wizard on iPhone/iPad Safari
- Fixed an error when adding a photo to a pile
- Fixed a crash in the sale-lots overview
- Numerous layout, keyboard and translation improvements
