Forstify 5.0.0 — Labs & deep links
With 5.0.0, new measurement methods get their own place in the app, and partner apps can start measurements directly in Forstify. Hindi joins as a new app language, along with 55 more timber species and more reliability in the forest.
New Labs section
- When you create a measurement in the app, supported devices now show a “Labs” section with the new Sectional Volume Measurement and the new Forstify Measurement
- More stable tracking, improved UI and UX, better performance and lower battery usage
- The measurement methods you know remain available as usual
Deep links for partner apps
- Partner apps start a measurement in Forstify with prefilled data such as species, quality class, length and logpile number
- All values stay visible and editable in Forstify
- The summary goes back to the partner app offline, with no server involved
- Learn more about integrations
More new features
- Members can now export team data
- Hindi is the app’s new 19th language
- 55 more timber species from all served markets
- Single-log form: the fixed length is remembered, and the cursor moves straight into a new log section
Improvements
- Teams and team measurements work offline
- For logs with sections of different quality, charts and exports show a quality range, and pricing is per section
- Finished measurements and photos are no longer lost when memory runs low
- Shared links show the data read-only, and documents load reliably
- Improved translations in Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, Italian, Japanese, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish and Swedish
